26. September 2023

On September 26, the German national team, including officials and supporters, will start their journey to South Africa for the fifth World Tenniquoits Championships. All relevant information is now summarized in a press kit specially prepared for this major event. In addition to the sport itself, the individual national players are also presented. The press kit, beautifully designed by the new TK public relations officer Alexander Wiß, is an innovation that has never been seen before in the DTB sport of Ringtennis before world championships.

What is Ringtennis?

Ringtennis is a backstroke game played in singles or doubles on a badminton-like field with a sponge rubber ring. The ring is caught and thrown with the same hand. The idea of the game is simple: to throw the ring over the net into the opponent's field in such a way that the opponent cannot, or can catch it only with difficulty, to throw it back. Ringtennis is very suitable both in competition and as a recreational game.
